Spanish flu. The Bubonic Plague. Yellow Fever. Swine Flu… C-19. The list of pandemics throughout history is unfortunately a long and tragic one. We are all experiencing this global pandemic together and the scale of which has not been for a very long time. Certainly not on this level and in our lifetimes. We can only hope it will pass with as few victims as possible through preparation and prevention, the tireless efforts of medical workers around the world and of course, time, the greatest healer of all wounds. While the world feels shut down and the origins of this pandemic seem to raise more questions than solutions thus far, it is important to look back and understand what we can learn from the past, and what we may need to expect from the present.
