Do supplements really work – this is the subject we are going to tackle today with another installment from my “The Real Skinny on Fat” docuseries. So many of us take our daily pills, powders, and such, without actually stopping to ask ourselves what should we be looking for when we buy them, and we rarely ask ourselves do they really work.
We’re back with another highlight interview video, this time with Shawn Wells. Shawn has been dubbed “The World’s Greatest Formulator”, Biohacktivist, and Keto Authority. Having faced and overcome significant obstacles with his own health—weight issues, depression, autoimmune conditions (Epstein-Barr, Fibromyalgia, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), two cervical discs replacements, and a pituitary adenoma, a type of brain tumor. They say everything happens for a reason, and in Shawn’s case, his health problems led him down a winding path that required him to find science-based solutions, and they sparked his personal passion for biohacking.
Shawn’s depth of knowledge is incredibly insightful and the questions he asks are so important to all of us. So many of us use supplements, but just as we choose our food carefully and look at the ingredients, so should we with any supplements we put in our bodies, and it’s with this kind of insight and research that we can take the subject more seriously.
