The great thing about collagen is that it can be so versatile and easily mixed into a hot beverage or a cold one, like a smoothie or shake. This collagen protein shake is more like a creamy chocolate milkshake that you’d get at a diner or soda fountain, but upgraded with high-quality, nutrient-dense ingredients that fit into a keto diet and lifestyle. This collagen shake recipe makes for a perfect snack or treat (or even breakfast!) and is a tasty and satisfying way to get in your daily serving of collagen protein powder. 

 

Collagen Double Chocolate Shake

Serving size: 1 shake

Ingredients

½ cup cold water

½ cup ice

¼ cup heavy cream (or full-fat coconut milk)

1 teaspoon (up to 1 tablespoon) Simply GOODFATS Creamy MCT Vanilla Coconut Swirl or Organic MCT Oil 

1 scoop Simply GOODFATS Chocolate Grass-Fed Collagen Protein

1 teaspoon cacao nibs

1 tablespoon ground flax seeds

Pinch of sea salt

 

Note that the Simply GOODFATS Chocolate Grass-Fed Collagen Protein contains both powdered MCT oil and monk fruit sweetener. If you substitute a different collagen protein, you may want to increase your MCT oil and add a pinch of monk fruit.

 

Instructions  

Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy immediately!
